What is a great starting point to improve treasure hunting cap?

Gunnars Hold, enter the Kilroy Stonekin Punchout Extravaganza. You can get one locked chest about every minute by running past the mobs and going straight to the chest. Of course this takes cash and lockpicks but if that is a concern you could complete the dungeon and sell drops. That should take a couple more minutes but will pay for the picks along the way.

You may also leave Boreal Station into Ice Cliff Chasms and hit a chest (sometimes 2) within 1 minute or so...

It depends on which game you're in. But if the key is 600g or more for a chest, it counts. Also you will build your lucky/unlucky and wisdom titles simultaneously.

If you have an assassin go to the snowman layer perma shadow form build and run the dungeon for chests there are usually about 3-5 chest and it takes about 2 minutes. That is how i maxed my treasure hunter title

boreal ftw. if ur starting low, u should have ur unlucky title maxxed by the time ur done as well =D

From my experiences(r6 treasure hunter) the best place is outside of port sledge, i run on HM to get tomes to re-sell to keep funding my runs, i have a guide written on gameamp about it.

Basically what i do(i run with a VoS derv, but pretty much anything will work) is start from port sledge and head to the right, keeping to the outer edge, the run takes about 5-7 minutes total once you get the hang of it and can yield up to 6-7 chests(i usually run into 4 on average) keep all the golds and sell them as unid's, i make a post here and promise at least 50 unid's per day allowing me to charge a slightly higher rate than usual, this and the tomes that drop even with a lower trasure hunter/lucky title usually let me break even but on the occasion that i get unusually luck and get more elite tomes i can sometimes yield a profit...albeit small, but it definitely adds up

The run outside port sledge works good ...but always has 3 chests...no more...no less no matter what ... ive done that run many times and there is a good deal of elite tomes dropped...say per 100 chests i probably get 5-10 elite tomes and golds and grapes....good stuff but takes 5 min max if your good and 3 chests every time
